Halfway Through Exams

I just finished my Maths paper.
Gah.
I don't want to look at another maths formula for a very long time if I can help it.
Monday I had ESL. Tuesday was Physics.
Had a break for one day before Maths today.

Its so weird to sit for the test with people you don't know.
Everyone was separated cos the seating is according to your registration no..
And the exam venues are all different places depending on what paper you're sitting for, your registration no. and what day.
I've gotten used to taking tests with people I know. I mean, even during PMR and UPSR you can just turn around and see some of your friends sitting a few rows back. I dunno...I find it oddly reassuring. Like, during my school examinations I always glanced at my friends and we'd share a 'omg-this-is-so-stress' look.

AHHHHH.
Remember is out!

And Twilight too!

*envious*

Hmmm.
Kim Hyun Joong is best friends with JaeJoong and TOP.
.....................................
.................................................

You know what this means?
It means. That my two favourite guys hang out together!!!!
So adorable la both of them XD
wahhhhhh!

A-hem.
Sorry, fangirl moment.

By next week my finals will be over.
Got a class gathering on next Friday. Supposedly gonna go ice-skating and k-box-ing.
They're crazy if they think I'm gonna ice skate.
The last time I ice-skated I fell down an unmentionable number of times.
But I'm gonna mention it anyway.
20 TIMES!
My tailbone was practically fractured!
Luckily when I sat down I didn't scream and jump up.
So. I shall just....watch from the sidelines. Eat popcorn. Enjoy the show.

Smile. Wave.
And grin when they fall.

I sound so evil.

Anywayyyyyy.
Right after Chem paper I'm staying over at Amelia's house!
Hopefully. If it's all good with the parents.
Then before prom I'll be bunking with Mae Yee!
Wahahaha.
I'm gonna have so much fun!

what am i doing?
i'm supposed to be studying!!!!!
and here i am daydreaming/blogging about nonsense stuff!

Ok! Gotta go now!

Wait wait. Before I leave I must fangirl again!

Overachievers and Underachievers

Well, I think it would be fairly safe to categorize myself as belonging to the former.
By this I am not saying that I am ''kiasu'', don't get me wrong. Kiasu-ness cannot be equated to overachieving and vice versa. Many people have different ideas of what is ''kiasu'' and for me, I see it as being a sore loser. People who always feel that they are better and cannot stand to see other people getting first prize as they believe that the number 1 spot is specially reserved for them. These people are what I call ''kiasu''. They would be the first to volunteer to help the teacher give out test papers just so they can compare everyone's marks. Very annoying. There are some people who are both ''kiasu'' and overachievers. That's bad. But anyway, not the point of this post....

I like to think of myself as being an overachiever, in that I strive to do the best that I can do. I can't say that I am 100% sure that I am not ''kiasu'' though. I guess I am ''kiasu'' to a certain extent but I prefer to call it competitive. For a person to be good at something, there must be competitiveness, no? I am somewhat, or rather, very similar to my mom who always gives her all to the point that she is taken for granted. She leaves for work as early as 8am and only comes home after 7pm. Often times she doesn't eat her lunch because she has no time. She never takes breaks and only goes for toilet breaks. Frankly, it's quite scary the way she works (no, she's not a labourer in some 3rd world country). But I picked up these things from her and I turned out ok, yet I wonder why he didn't. It puzzles me and worries me.

He is just so relaxed and....contented with being below average.
I find it difficult to understand him.
Exams are a few days away and there I see him wasting his time away playing some insignificant online game. Seriously. It's a lame game.
And everyone is telling him to buck up but it's falling on deaf ears.
Like menyiram air ke daun keladi or something.
His results before this were...well, let's put it this way, he could have done better. A LOT better.
My mom's even contemplating sending him to some snobby private school. That's serious. I mean, not to sound calculative but...it really burns a hole in your wallet yea...
Sigh.
Darn it.

Anyway, going to IMU tomorrow.
Hopefully won't get lost along the way.
And I reallyreallyreally need to stop doing what I do.
Too obvious already.
Must.....resist.
If not I got no self-dignity left, might as well just scribble 'RETARD' on my forehead in thick, black permanent marker.

Exam Season

The time of the year which we students detest with a burning passion.
Seriously, I wish someone would invent some kind of machine that scanned your brain to suck out the information and then give you your grade. No need to spend so much time sitting for the exam. Can save the trees also!

See...something like this is what I imagined. So nice right? Of course this is not the machine la. It's some special nap pod for Google employees (yeah, they get to nap at work...makes me wanna work for Google also:p)

Form 6 ppl having their exams now. SAM ppl having their exams after Deepavali break. Matric ppl having exams right after Deepavali. A-Levels ppl having exam end of October(?)PMR students....having exams? Finish already? Bleh.

I need to motivate myself to study.
I keep getting distracted and lose focus everytime I try to study. Gahhhhh.
How to be in the mood to study?
okok. I must stop playing with my phone and stop online-ing.
But everytime I say I wanna stop online-ing I go online right after =.=
How leh?
Okay, I love studying.
Studying is fun!
Studying is exciting!
It's not boring at all.
Text books are head-banging wonderful!
Like, they make me high!
..................
Crap. I just realized I got 2 test papers to do by tomorrow.
crapcrapcrap

Hope for the best. Expect the worst

Got back alllll my results today.
Oklar. I was prepared for the worst so when I saw my results it wasn't so bad (sigh of relief)

And I saw TSG&TFG. Heehee.
I'm so happyyyyy.
I got Band 8 for IELTS. Thank goodness otherwise there goes RM 600+ down the drain...

Now I have to get the application forms and stuff for uni which is scary cos everything is going by so fast!
I can't believe my Finals are next month.
I can't believe I've been in KL for almost a year.
I can't believe that in a matter of weeks I will be leaving Taylor's.
I can't believe I'll be going to uni next year.

I can still remember my first day.
The girl I was sitting with who I found scarily moody and emo turned out to be one of my closest college mate.
The girl that introduced herself in a funny robotic way became my college buddy.
The shockingly fair girl who at first only spoke in Mandarin is now my friend.

Sigh. I half wish SAM was longer.
Eh, scratch that. I cannot stand anymore assignments and presentations.
I will D-I-E.

OH. Michi went paintball-ing!!!!!
I wanna go toooooooo!
I don't care about the ugly purplish bruises(that Michi got btw) so anyone wanna go?
But there must be like, 20 ppl involved. Not cheap also le. 100 bucks/person. You get around 200(or was it 400?) paint balls per person.
The place is somewhere in Shah Alam, 10 minutes drive from Klang she said.
And contrary to what I assumed, they shoot the paintballs in a forest-like setting.
I always thought it would be in some kind of open space with boulders to hide behind but the forest setting is so much more cooler yea?

I AM AN F1 DRIVER

So he says.
Yeah, right. Just wait till he gets slapped with a 300 bucks saman. Hrumph....
Honestly, I don't get what is it with males and fast things.
Probably the thrill? But is it that exciting to overtake cars and go over the speed limit?
Do they get some kind of rush when they get to overtake other cars?
Like do they think, 'HAHAHA! My car faster than yours. I am so geng, I like F1 driver! My driving skills top-notch man!'
Yup. You're rich like F1 driver also rite?

Anyway, I saw a snatch thief in action yesterday.
The security guard chased him across the busy road. I was quite impressed by the guard cos the road was full of fast cars zooming past. But I think he got away cos he ran like hell. Sigh.

And I wanna learn how to drive!!
Grrr. Then I can go anywhere I want, anytime I want. Why does driving take so loooong?
A friend of mine said takes like....4 months for the whole thing.
That's like forever. I can't wait that long!

WAHHHH. My exams finished! For now anyway...
Butbutbut. Gah. I don't think I did well this time. Too many pages, too little time.
And my dad's gonna give me some look when I tell him.
He already asked my how I *think* I did in the exams. I cleverly changed the subject though, to avoid the possible nagging. Save it for later la.
If I tell him, my whole holiday will be, 'Rachel, what are you doing on the computer? Go and do some studying, blablabla...'

Oh. I'm supposed to get my IELTS results today. Scary.
I'll get it after hols.
